Taking on challenges and continually working with peace of mind

It is imperative to have an office environment that enhances employees' desire to work, so that they can demonstrate their abilities to the fullest and bring about innovation. At SEC, we pursue capital expenditure for development and working environments that boost productivity, encourage communication between employees, and enable innovation. To achieve sustainable growth, SEC needs systems and structures that let employees continue to work with peace of mind. We will build an environment and systems that are considerate of the physical and mental health and safety of employees, while allowing them to continue working as they encounter changes through many different stages of life. In addition, we are promoting dialog with employees and are striving to boost employees' psychological safety and engagement.

A development environment that encourages innovation

At SEC, we are working to realize an environment that caters to the diverse work styles of our employees while also encouraging innovation.
Our office features two areas: the Open Innovation Area for holding demonstrations of SEC's solutions, field tests for cutting-edge technology, and technological seminars; and the Flexible Work-Style Area that promotes a wide range of activities such as pair work, team building, and presentations.

Systems that let employees continue to work with peace of mind

At SEC, we implement a wider range of systems that support employees' desire to work, so that they can continue to engage in tasks with peace of mind as they encounter changes through different stages in their lives, such as raising children or caring for elderly family members.

  • Remote work system (All employees can utilize this system to work remotely up to two days a week)
  • Work-at-home system (Employees can work remotely without limit if they are constrained for time owing to childcare, care for elderly family members, medical treatment, or other reasons)
  • Work system for employees who need to take care of children (reduced hours system)
  • Career consultation service
  • Health consultation service
  • Childcare leave
Percentage of employees who utilized the childcare leave system in FY22: 16.7% of men and 100% of women
  • Activities to encourage employees to take paid leave
